Cactus Jack, a.k.a. Jack Rendon, has been with Southwest Legends Gunfighters since it's beginning in 1997. He has also held the position of Group Director. He is an extremely warm and helpful individual to the new additions of our group, and can cook up a storm as been proved at many a group picnic. When ever you need someone to make you smile, or if you need to hear a good joke, Cactus Jack is your man.
Jack has been a fan of the Cowboy since he was a little boy, and loves every opportunity to play the part as an adult. As a profeesional actor, Jack appeared in High Chaparral, the Gambler (starring Kenny Rogers), the Professionals, and Appaloosa.
Depending on the performance, Cactus Jack's heritage percentage changes. In Florence he was 90% American Indian. In Yuma he was 78.2% Mexican.We're not sure what Cactus Jack really is...
Look for Jack's famous dance of death scenes in our skits. It really is quite entertaining and the audience loves it.
Ma Rendon, a.k.a. Alice Rendon, has always been an ardent supporter of Southwest Legends Gunfighters. Her husband is Cactus Jack, but we don't fault her for that. Always appearing at the shows with a smile and a twinkle in her eye, Alice is truly one to put everyone in a good mood.
